- Where: Vector will Log each machine donated, stored in Bay2.
- Requirements:
- Machine must be available
- Recipient must pay for any needed parts.
- Only one machine per DMS Member or local Nonprofit.
- After a DMS member has successfully sponsored one nonprofit, they may sponsor another nonprofit.
- Recipient must fix/maintain the machine w/ help of Vector
- Repairs are functional, not cosmetic.
- Recipient must complete one sewing project with the machine before they may take it home.
- Recipients may not sell finished machines
- May give away to another sewist in need
- May donate back to DMS/Vector for another sewist in need.
- Who may receive a machine?
- DMS members
- local nonprofits with a DMS member as sponsor
- If donor machines are available
- Individuals may request a sewing machine: Verbally, or in Writing
- Individual's name will be assigned to log of donated machines
- Individual must request tutoring or class to learn to repair and use machine
- Vector Project Rules apply.
- Requested machines that become 'abandoned' will be returned to the donor pool.
