Rule #1: Speed
Rule #27: All drivers wearing Red Bull logos will be required to pre-pay a $5,000 damage supplement before driving the car. The supplement is reduced to $2,250 for Toro Rosso and/or AlphaTauri. Williams drivers will be given $10. Relatives of Russian oligarchs and/or current FIA presidents will be required to pay an additional 20,000%.
Rule #99: Any makerspace member may utilize DMS owned safety gear (helmets, suits, shoes, gloves, hans) to participate in a motorsport event, as long as it doesn't conflict with an event by the official team. The team must be notified of checkout date and planned duration at least 72 hours in advance via the motorsports discord channel. If the gear is damaged in a crash or fire, the member bears no financial responsibility for its replacement. If the gear is lost or damaged due to negligence, the member is responsible for replacing it with something equivalent (new or used). Gear must be returned clean with extra stickers.
