Up the ramp and into the shop

Allowed material
•Wood & plastics
•Plywood & MDF is not allowed on some tools
•Pressure treated lumber is NEVER allowed
•Metal is cut in the machine shop
Point out the sign by the Laguna band saw

•Know the condition of your wood
•Proper tool for the job
•Safety guards, push blocks & feather boards
•Note the working area around you
•Maintain blade & bit sharpness
•Anticipate kickback
•Blast gates, switches & cleanup
•Changing bits & blades: Lock out the machine & verify

•Shop equipment and safety manuals
•Most tools require training
•SawStop—don’t bring your wood over from laser
