Upcoming update to Science Sunday at the Dallas Makerspace will try to add a bit more structure to the meeting and to give potential participants more clarity as to the types of activities to expect on any given Sunday.  Within the next month or two, Science Sundays will have the following general format instead of our current completely informal meetup.  We intend to have some combination of the following at each meeting, the specifics of which While not every type of activity will occur each week, specifics about what to expect will be posted weekly on this page prior to the meeting:

1.Fun Public Activity / Demonstration:  

As much as Whenever possible, we would like to have a fun activity/demonstration that people can stop by and try regardless of their scientific background. 

2.Rotating Group Research Projects

We plan to update our group project selection and go have a specific project scheduled schedule different projects each week on a rotating basis such that people with different backgrounds can get involved.2. Rotating Group Research ProjectsOur focus will be developing learning, tools, and resources, that can be useful to increasing capabilities here in the Science area or at the space as a whole. We anticipate that various engineering, design, and creative skills whether using glass, metal, or plastic will be required while we prototype new stuff.  So we hope that you would consider joining us on the weeks where the projects catch your interest.  When working on projects relevant to other committees, we hope that you can contribute your domain expertise and advise us.  Results and guides will be published here as a resource for the community.

3.Volunteer and Contribution Activities

  Finally Finally, various housekeeping/upgrade/build activities will be periodically scheduled similar to how other committees have work days.
