Purpose & Relevance: aka Problem & Solution: | Executive Summary:We propose funding support for a collaborative project to design and construct a wearable glass dress to be featured in the Glass Art Society’s Annual Conference Fashion Show. This project not only showcases the diverse talent within Dallas Makerspace (DMS) but also brings national attention to our organization. The fashion show this year will be followed by a documentary film crew, presenting a rare opportunity to highlight DMS’s innovation and interdisciplinary community on a global platform.
