We have finally moved into the new space!
We're waiting to finish all the machine installations. The parts should be coming in this next week and we will call the electrician to finish the install.
We need a committee vote for a new vacuum $317. 4 votes yes and 4 voted no. This is for the detail bay and for future detailing classes.
Before we start certification on the four post lift. Jason has created an online course for auto 100. There is discussion on whether we can grandfather the two post lift users - but anyone who wants to get certified for the four post lift HAS to take the online course as. are-requiset. There will be a drop date for the grandfathered 2-post lift users of January 1, 2026. Take the online auto 100 class before January 1, 2026 or before wanting to take the four-post lift training.
NEW RULE:
Automotive 100 is now mandatory for all automotive users. If you want to take a lift training class, the automotive 100 online course is now mandatory. If you're grandfathered on the two-post lift, you have until January 1, 2026 to complete this online course. If this course is not completed by prior lift certifications on January 1, 2026, your lift certification will expire and you will have to take the online course and the in person lift training again.
WE ARE VOTING FOR THIS NEW RULE - Chris motions and Rich seconds. 8 votes for and 1 against.
There will be a few pages from the lifts handbook that will be printed and posted to each lift as well as added to the online course per Jason and Chris.
AUTO SHOP SHUT DOWN DAYS:
We will have another auction (next Saturday 10/4) and the auto shop will possibly be closed. Warrenliquidation.com
Jayson Woods is throwing a car show and auto shop will be closed/ shut down October 18, 2025.
In closing, please help keep people accountable in keeping lanes clear, spaces clean and putting things back where they belong. There are more tours happening and we wanna make sure that we are keeping the space up as nice as possible for us as a community to share.
We will start to introduce new classes this next month.
