Julie Harris Digital Media PC The digital media PCs are old and not suitable for video/CAD work. Purchase a PC for digital media - specs below.  If this is to be paid for with digital media funds then it should be tabled until after the next digital media meeting but since I received specs, I wanted to discuss.

Julie Harris PR Quote We need PR content so more people can learn about DMS We received a quote for PR work:
1 x 30 second spot and 2 x social media (image/short video) posts $2000 or 2 x 30 second spots and 5 social media post content $3000 Includes: Script, Videography, editing, voiceover and music, graphics, sound and visual library access.

Julie Harris Animatronics Animatronics SIG would like to become a committee Rules for committees can be found here:

Animatronics has been active and meets all of the requirements to become a committee.  
  1. Animatronics has 8 members which is more than the 5 members required.
  2. Animatronics has been holding regular (monthly) meetings and had their first work day.  Animatronics plans to have work days every 2 weeks.
  3. Animatronics has been working on projects that are beneficial to PR and DMS as a whole and has been actively meeting goals for those projects.  
  4. Animatronics will post classes to the calendar (eye mechanisms, heart mechanism, skeleton).

Solution: Change Animatronics from a SIG to a commitee and give Animatronics the Orange classroom.  Charge anything required to revamp the Orange classroom to Logistics, subject to approval limits per the finance policy.  Allocate funds and a monthly budget TBD at the board meeting to Animatronics.  Approve $1,000 for Stan Winston online class license (1).
