In the world of CNC there are normally two step required to make an item.

First you design how the item looks and then select how the item will be cut out in software such as Easel.

Second you insert and secure your blank to be cut, insert the proper bit into your spindle, and then run you completed file on the CNC device.

Please keep on mind that there is a vast difference between how this seemingly simple process works on different machines.
