Jayson Woods Approval to bid on used wide belt sander for woodshop Need board approval to place bid Woodshop committee approved up to $10,000 last year for a used wide belt sander.  We have been looking and found one that is in really good condition.  Mesquite ISD has a barely used 25" x60" Timesaver sander in an auction closing January 22.  Used similar machines have sold for $5,000 and higher.  Our proposal is to bid up to $5,000 for it, it is likely to go much lower based on previous items at Mesquite ISD auctions. Our existing drum sander is a maintenance headache and is very shallow depth of cut. This would replace that sander.. no
Jayson Woods Website upgrade Our website is in dire need of an upgrade A group of us are working with and ex member ( Michael Smith) to upgrade the website. we are working in phases I would like to approve  the money for the first to phases of this process.   the amount would be $4,000

Jayson Woods The windows need new seals The windows need new seals The August board meeting included a quote for window seals.  It was decided to table this until additional quotes were obtained but it has been 3 months.  Approve up to $10,000 to redo the window seals.  The quote can be found in the August minutes.
