New Members
  1. Reviewed barriers facing new members
    1. Onboarding Difficulties

      2. DMS's online presence is fragmented, the most-used pages are not linked.
        1. Short term: Create links on 4 big pages to one another
        2. Long Term: New website header should include 4 biggest pages as top-level buttons. (Talk/Source/Learn/Events/discord)
          1. Header should persist across all possible DMS web presence
      3. Lingo: 'Talk, Source, Learn, Events' are not defined or easily understood by a new member.
      4. Expectations:
        1. Rules and basic expectations are not defined clearly within the physical makerspace.
    2. Training Deficits
      1. Lack of classes, lack of signage indicating classes required.
      2. Lack of communication showing a new member HOW to request a class.
    3. Communication Barriers (see above)

 External Communications

Discussed need for basic press coverage action template, which media outlets to contact, etc.. 


Outside Collaborations
  1. Make A Wish: Make-a-Wish has asked for us to help with some wishes. James Henningson 5127 will conference with them in the coming months to outline feasible /safe collaborations.
  2. Carrollton Library: doesn't have a Makerspace, perhaps we can help them with that.
  3. City of Carrollton Social Media Team. Initially we would want to give them a tour, and see how that relationship grows.
