The Rocket SIG is working towards building a hybrid solid fuel rocket. A hybrid rocket uses a solid fuel consisting of a polymeric material and a liquid/gaseous oxidizer that is stored separately and injected into the combustion chamber as needed. We are working on a test stand to determine the thrust that can be obtained using 3D printed solid fuels.
